Sending you back to the dream
from
Once you came

You were only really in
my brain and
I remember thinking that
The same when I first saw you
It's like with your smile
you could light up a whole room
in the classroom
Where we met you
stood out
From the rest

I still remember your chest
The first time you hugged me
Can still feel your arms and
Hear the way you said you love me
But dishonesty was
The only thing
you could ever mean

Though the way you looked at me
created sun beams
To nuture my frail leaves
You only did that so
You could take these
So you wouldn't feel empty
Like a teen flick on
The movie screen
In the end you find out she
Wasn't ever appeased and
That he could not be pleased
Watching it back now

Nothing is as it seems
Lovers but not on the same team

And during the whole thing I must have been asleep, infact it must have been a dream.
