Nov 2018
overwhelmed by my emotions
encasing me in chains
fighting to resist their crippling hold
i cry out in anguish and stress
letting it all spew out like old faithful
the chains loosen their grip
knowing one day i'll be set free
or be like an escapee from Alcatraz
