Lemon-drop Eraser

Tiny sparks flicker and glint,

on soft currents of salty air,

standing ankle-deep in the luke-warm tide.

Sunshine across your face,

turning your smile into nothing but

a light too bright to hold in ones eyes.

You were beautiful,

You were careless,

You were free.
