Infancy

Spherical rainbow,

a smile-inducing giggle-fit,

floats carefree.

Your innocent breath,

the part of you

I long to keep preserved,

fills it-- makes it so.

The iridescent colors

swirl around before meeting

tiny

outstretched

fingers.
