For a moment,
A fleeting moment,
I thought I was yours,
And you were mine.
I thought my fingers and yours,
Entwined.
For a moment,
A fleeting moment,
I thought you wanted more than sighs,
Quivering thighs.
I thought you wanted love,
And I thought it was love.
But,
That moment lasted for as long as you did.
Fleeting.
When that moment dissolved into nothingness,
Between the sheets,
So did I.
