the misconception
surrounding necromancy:

you do know that if you read
the work of someone who's dead,
you're on your way to being
a necromancer, right?

perhaps i should be ashamed,
i have probably about two books
by living authors,
the rest?
           all dead.

but that's not the whole point:
better to give my hands
unto the devil,
than my tongue unto god...

and there's a reason...
a big reason...
              if you speak, what
god insinuates by your, ahem...
"thinking"...
you're deluded...

          idly deluded...
and probably dyslexic or not a fast typing
unit... crow pecking,
no hand-orientation of
the keyboard, probably never attempted
to play the piano to boot...
crock-pecking:

i n d e x f i n g e r s
   k r a f t w e r k
o l d m c d o n a l d 'a d a a f a r m
e o e o e o e o e o o i n k

so you give your hands to the devil,
what happens?
well... you start to hear whispers
regarding what the tongues ought to do...

giving your tongue to god...
well...
  the hands do very little,
waggling tongue, idle hands...
no more a poet, no more a writer,
plumber, electrician...
just a staged pulpit puppet,
a preacher! well done!
       no dusty springfield to glorify
you either...
and we all know how much
people love to listen to speech,
but see so little of it
in terms of phonetic encoding...

i gave my hands to the devil
to hear the whisper...
the faint whisper...
the Marcus Aurelius motif...
Rome was a dream,
a dream that Rome was a... republic
...

between the cynics, the pessimists...
stoicism...
would you believe it?!
i gave my hands to the devil...
so i wouldn't have to give me tongue
to god... and do... so so little,
belittling people with
a priesthood...
gesticulate flamboyance
come the service of serving
the cannibal "metaphor" of the Eucharist...

but if you read a book by someone
who's dead?
you're a necromancer...
   you've just resurrected someone!
and as time dynamics goes?
what with the Asiatic
reincarnation concept of a fixed number
of "original" souls
moving between placebo
animals, and humans...

    whereby the concept of time
is purely / simply cyclic,
and not linear?

   necromancy? reading a book by
a dead person?
   resurrecting them in your psyche?
you're dragging them along...
you're allowing them to transcend death...
you're dragging along someone from,
say, the 19th century...
time is forward...
and in some respect a retrospect,
but the aim is: forward...
   in terms of vectors, that's (1, 1, 1)
beginning from (0, 0, 0)...
            reincarnation is too spatial,
too stable,
too reinforcing: at the present instance,
and therefore reinforced as
what ought to be up-kept...

i gave my hands unto the devil
because if i gave my tongue
to god, i would be equipped with
two left hands...
all the more unable to change
the ******* light-bulb...
living off giving sermons at the church...
simple!
