All Along
The soreness of my heart engulfs my being,
Now that your gone, I'm finally seeing.
Who you are and what you did.
How you cowered behind and hid.
The lights are out and it's finally clear.
After all this time, after a year.
It still hurts so badly to know,
That everything we did, and all that was done was just a show.
Never again shall you do me wrong.
I wish I had known this all along.
