Poems
Dec 2012
Connected, apart.
Lonely people
In a lonely world
Surrounded, yet walled off
By so many things
Pride
Anger
Fear
And more
How strongly we make sure
We stay alone
Which is so strange
Because that is
What tears us down
What breaks us apart
And yet, ironically
It's the thing that we all share
Loneliness
It's sad and its not
In our heads, but all around us
And the spark, the idea
Of being perfectly intertwined
What a unsettling
And captivating thought.
