Goodbye friendships, built years ago
Once so close, now apart we grow
Shared conversations turn divisive and coarse
And we still smile together, but the smiles we force
Gone is the easiness, the jokes that ran free
Tables are turned on what was loyalty
Rumours run smoothly through the cracks in our ties
But only some know what is truth, what is lies
What used to be friendship, we cling to the ends
Now's a group of people with no other friends
Sticking togther because no others they know
Soon someone will realise it's just time to go
