Left in the spotlight
I find what is mine.
Wipe the slate with silver ties
Ill shine in the holy memories.
Why did you go away?
…go away…?

A phoenix heart.
Rising from the ashes of my own destruction,
I find the world paved in new.
Radiant pyre of sparks and flames,
Old worn book of thoughts and names.
This is overdue.

Left in the spotlight
I take what is mine.
Wipe the slate with silver lies
Ill shine in the shallow memories.
Why did you go away?
Go away.

A resurrection.
Rising from the dead with a desire for flesh,
I see the world, a change of view.
A thoughtless being of self-satisfaction,
A nomad, a chemical reaction.
This is overdue.
