Soldier
Everyday I hear all the bad things I've done
Whispers in my ear to end my life with a pun
But dear Devil
You can't haunt me with this guilt
You can't drive me to suicide
I decided years ago I would never take the cowards way out
When I accepted Christ as my savior I became a soldier
There are people God sent me to rescue by his strength
So don't you dare think that I will leave my brothers and sisters behind
You better get out of my head
Cause that knife may look good but Jesus is better
I will meet him on his time not mine
YOU BETTER GET OUT BEFORE I START SWINGING!!!
THESE ARMS WERE GIVEN TO CHRIST AND WHEN I SWING I SWING FOR DISTANCE!!!!
Christ saved me from my past
He saved me from a body cast
So you can't take my life
Because I serve as a soldier
And I stand with God
To the end of the line
