You felt nothing for me. Not even a shred of love.
But you created a rainbow illusion, with smiles and star twinkles in your eyes.
Only long enough until your heart was fit to love again.
And through that period I thought no other had to look for you
Because you were fated to love me.
But like a flower, with dawn light you bloomed, your broken heart saw day light.
And you sought love beyond perfection
You exposed my little needy heart, my sour love and my charm poverty.

With a torn heart I held on to my delusions that you could see beyond physical beauty
I hoped you could see what was inside my heart
Every single night that you ignored my calls
I prayed for the next day to come so that I could try again
I held on to pain
I held on to pain
I held on to pain
