Tangled
conversations
between us,

cage the
indigo tiger
in your eyes,

send it
back
to hell.

wash our
souls
with honey

from ripe blossoms
from under this
black salt and
pepper sky.

my rights
over your
wrongs.

immovable
objects
crashing

trying to

draw new first

blood with

every word said

tearing old

wounds.

and all of
the while
we have
been alone.

we have
been together.

I will
never lose
sight of
you.

candy shop
eyes,

your full breast
pillow chest
between
my face.

even in
our open
wound
differences,

I will
never
get
enough
of you.

and I

know I am

destined

to starve

and I will

starve.......

in whatever

love might

come.
