When she was 8-teen
She started smoking ****
And it became a necessity
For her to keep the peace

Or the words she'd sing
Would only bring
Suffering
To everything

And then she found a Savior
For a while, he saved her
But only for good behavior
And then she kissed a stranger

The spell once cast, now broken
She's back to kissin' and tokin'
Half of all words spoken
Flame and ash a-smokin'

But you can know
The love will always flow
When she isn't home,
When she isn't home
A poem about suppressing a toxic personality with marijuana
