Reflection
Have you ever looked in a mirror
At your own reflection
Do you see what you see
Or others recollection
The truth lies in the eye of the beholder
Maybe not understood now
But maybe when you are older
Each time getting bolder
It is truth you seek
In pain and love
A lesson learned not taught
Growing warm not colder
So maybe not a reflection
But a memory written in time
We learn and grow
Its not misdirection
This truth is in each of us
Never go a stray
For the the path is marked in love
The heart points the way
Stay to your values
Take none from no other
For thats when enemy becomes friend
A feeling like no other
Pain only creates pain
But can change to love
When acceptance is learned
From the heart up above
Never judge
Yet ye shall be judged
Learned that lesson
When push came to shove
When words put to paper
A heart never shamed
For each of has to learn it
The one and the same
