I'm not talking about vertebrae columns
I'm talking about the fact that
Beauty is not skin deep

You have to dig deep,
In order to truly know a person
Cos if you judge others by the way they look
You'll always be misguided by appearances

Forever lost in a world of smoke and mirrors
Unable  to pierce the cover of illusion
Thus I always try to focus on what's inside
A person's skeleton, if you will

But it's important
That one has a backbone
In a world where everything is so false
That you never know who to trust
