diamond
I crave freedom from words
tear out from the box my thoughts put me in
damage the exterior beyond repair
I am a diamond in a cardboard box
trapped behind the fear of being seen
I crave space to fill my lungs
space to lay
spread my body
into the world
relentlessly me
