A  BEACH HOLIDAY

We to Mandar- Mani, for a holiday went, via many a bend.
But this time, Nature a helping hand, did not lend.
We couldn't against the heat,  ourselves fend.

Hot was the Sun; so, my skin, badly  burnt is.
Bright sunshine ,
Scorching heat, just didn't cease.
Pool water, perhaps chlorine had  plenty; n to add to it, there was no breeze.

Feel we now , like boiled potatoes, with  skin about to peel.
Skin red and burning; n an awfully  uncomfortable  feel.
Under water stay I would, like a fish; but had not a gill.

Holiday wonderful would have been; if fine was the weather.
if operational  would be the water park; it would add to our cap, a feather.
A cool sea and cloudy skies; would be a breather.

Anyway to be with the family was pleasure immense.
Indeed enjoyable very, was our present tense.
It was our togetherness, that  made a lot of sense.
