Sally Hayes
He is so kind,
I wanted him to be mine.
But now that you're gone,
I find it hard to move on.
Is it bad that I long for you?
What else should I do?
I'm your Sally Hayes,
the one you pushed away.
Maybe I'd be better on my own,
instead of running from home to home.
The world is far to cold,
to trust anyone who's far too bold.
The right one will come along,
but I have waited far too long.
I don't care if you can't offer more,
I need you behind closed doors.
