I walk among the dead each day
I see it in their eyes
Although they breathe the breath of life
Inside they've all but died

They've given up on living life
And chasing their own dreams
Going through the motions
Emotionless it seems

Their eyes are dull they've dimmed their light
Let their passion slip away
No matter what you say to them
They just turn away

Their hearts can't beat, I think they've stopped
They must be broke in two
No longer caring about themselves
Much less about me or you
