As you look down on those less prominent than you
As you scoff at their broken hands and soul
As you fall drunk under your own powerful might,
I shall pity you full
As you whisper your hateful remarks,
And eye for your friends for support,
As your lies seep from your venomous mouth
I shall pity in remorse
As you stride forth
And wave your hands high,
To those who think you’re a god
I only wish they could see who you truly are,
And witness the fall of a fraud
I pity you and your habits,
The meek smile you slap on that face
The person you always could have been,
Instead of a man fallen from grace
I hope you realize some day,
The world doesn’t revolve around you
But as you drown yourself in arrogance deep,
I shall always pity you.
