it was 6 at night,
dark, but I watched a fire ignite,
for he was by my side,
my thoughts I could finally let out of the inside

didn't pay attention to where we were going,
because the time was so outgoing,
we walked over 3 miles,
I wish we could have stayed for awhile

he walked me home
I am no longer afraid of the un-known
he hugged me tight
his presence was the highlight of my night
