Anatomy
An-at-oh-mee
Will you make a friend with me?

Curves and hairs
And you-know-wheres
Lips and tips
Of fingers
Linger

Kisses from misses
And dangers from strangers
What clothes can hide

Familial and not
Familiar and never-known
Embraces
Bright faces
And moods to go along

Anatomy
Anatomy
Great, beautiful anatomy
Sculpted in clay
Finer than diamonds

When life is up,
To the ground with thee,
Anatomy
From dust
To dust
