Joey
Underneath the head of his mother;
inside the pouch she uses as a cover.
Lives a boy whose older brother is a tiger.
As they hop through the forest
the thump of their landing is the chorus.
There is no greater freedom than lack of a diaper.
There are many lessons to learn
in mother's worries and scorn.
Only of dreams can he be the provider.
