The wilting rose lies unnaturally on its mother bush. It sways during the wind, and is the last flower left. It bares through the heat and surpasses even the harshest storms. All that keeps it going every night is the little girl that stops by every day to smell.
But, like all things it falls and withers away, only to be turned into compost. From its organic matter, produces 5 gleaming flowers, enough to make the little girl pick one and give to her mother.
