If there were a bridge I had to cross
Above the cliffs and water blue
I would cross and all fear hide
To find my way to you

Though weak and brittle it may be
I would never falter
It may swing and creak and sway
My love for you it would not alter

I may slip and I may fall
Unto a certain death
For this I've no concern
I'll keep crossing to get to you
Until I take my last breath
