Suffer love in silence,
don't disturb the air;
with silly sounds of speech,
as if you really care.
Don't upset the applecart,
let things stay as they are;
why trouble your own thoughts?
do you wish to go that far?
Suffer love with stillness,
be a rock upon the shore;
be a fortress, all but mute,
why ask for something more?
Let the wounds heal slowly,
take time- to remain fast;
like everything in life,
this too, I know, will pass.
Suffer love in loneliness,
why risk the hurtful word?
they'll only deepen silence,
from the ones he never heard.
