Her eyes were darker than I remembered
Emptier too.
I used to find a home in those eyes
Now all I see is a maze
waiting to get lost
waiting to be trapped

Ready to catch me again
But this time I know I'll fall
and i don't know if I can get up this time

They used to be bright green
Emerald flecked with gold
Now they are dull
the spark gone
replaced with

pain

I know you are lost too,
trapped
I don't know if you can be found again
I hope you can
you deserve it
