I shot to the ground
From a bullet,
With no mercy.
I crawled along the waste line,
With no words I could speak.
I felt your arms around me,
But I could not see your face.
Every movement tore my body apart,
And every word you spoke,
I could not erase.
Your body was made of pure glass,
Now shattered by an action
I could not undo.
I continued to crawl helplessly
As I heard your cries.
And no life did I endure
But only the end of it.
