I’ve been cut in half
A magic trick gone awry
And all I can do is laugh
What good would it do to cry

This all came about by chance
I never thought I’d be the one to feel Gods mighty wrath
But I was, and it’s just fine
Truly, I don’t mind

I volunteered to take the stage
Knowing full well I wasn’t to be paid
And so the story goes
No time to weigh all the cons and pros

Because I’ve been cut in half
I really don’t mind and it’s good for a hearty laugh
The magician pulled out a rabbit from his hat.
Amazing!, how bout that,
How bout that, how bout that.

It’s just fine, it’s just fine, it’s just fine
I’ve embraced my fate
It’s all just a matter of time

I wish he’d taken the time to hone his craft
So people wouldn’t get cut in half
There’s nothing more we can do but laugh
You know I’ll never tell if it ever comes to that

The half of me feels so plain
Tears are running down my face like heavy rain
But it’s really not his fault
The magic show must go on after all

I’m dying now or about
I can make myself disappear without a shadow of a doubt
My time on earth is
dwindling down
Dwindling down
For the final count

Ten, nine, eight, It’s all come down to fate
Seven, six, and five,
It’s been one hell of a ride

All is fine and soon I’ll be gone
This is real, and not some wild and crazy con
So I guess this is goodbye
There is no bandaid big enough for keeping me alive

You all have been so kind
This is weighing heavily on my mind
I hold my breath for the thousandth time
It’s just fine, it’s just fine, it’s just fine.
I say goodbye.
