We all have our own demons
But others shove theirs onto mine
And mine are forced to be locked away
Until the other demons are gone

I can feel them pounding at the door
I can hear them screaming at me
But I can’t let them out just yet
Cause the others haven’t disappeared

When the other demons are finally gone
I still don’t let mine out
Because I’ve gotten used to the pounding
And all of the things they scream at me
