You’re so far away now-
I wonder if you’ll ever know

I still feel you
You're stuck somewhere deep within me
Like a crow, flying aimlessly- no clear destination in sight

I’m not sure when or if you’ll ever find your way out
And I can offer no assistance; I’m only but a bystander in this whole ordeal

But I will say, I surely hope you do
I hope you’ll cease your knocking in the early mornings

And I just hope you know.
bird metaphors are all I know, because in a not so distant past, you said they were you favorite.
