We all know the tale of Romeo and Juliet
The greatest tale of love and death
But we don’t know the tale is repeating
In the twenty-first century

The youth of the day
Act out this play
Like a dog’s tail
Being chased all day

Like when two strangers meet
On the dance floor
But they know they can’t be
Because of their tree

Because the love in this tale
Is a type of unique
For it is a forbidden love
Not able to be free

It’s a love of secrets
But a love still
Love at strong as stubborn will
