Thirsting for water
He lays on a desert sand
Drinking a mirage
Of what's not hear

Looking to the sky
Praying to the air
With nothing to quench
His dispair

A traveler comes near
To offer his share
Yet delusion won't allow
Him the care

He's dying of thirst
Believing the worst
When the water provided
Was there
