Inner lament
Darkness sets ****** sands
Tearing soul asunder
The touch of ghost
A feeling numb a blunder
A Life fools facade
Toying with emotion
Stormy seas
Rule inner oceans
A mask of many
Applied time again
To hide nature true
Souls fake bargain
Connecting not
To material dreams
Staying in the void
And silent screams
I hold to the void
And cast out shade
But how to end
Nightmare' s parade
Silence whispers
Upon deft ears
In companions halls
I fight my fears
Casting doubt
From deep within
A loneliness sets
No peace therein
Timeless lapse
Movement made certain
For clouds do cover
Life's veiled black curtain
Pulled back it can't
To cover it's shame
Not to beckon
The fool's call of fame
In dark corners
I do confide
Sleep eternal
My fears I hide
Calling out to ye
Angels of light
Heal this pain
This eternal night
Let free the river
It's ebb and flow
Break the walls
So I may let go
Let go of pain
Made of will
Let go of fear
It's cold pure chill
Let go of truth
For my inner does lie
Let go of tears
So I may cry
Still a dream wide awake
Locked in cage
With my mask
And souls fake rage
I'll wait and seek
The hidden light
To guide me back
To a soul for right
