I live for the rain
that stops my pain
and mutes my brain
to keep me sane.

To the earth from the sky,
turning wet what was dry,
so should I begin to cry,
none will know it was I.

And with lightning's flash, and thunder's roar,
my soul will know I am alone no more.
This familiar sound that I've heard before
shall bring me to my peace.
And I will be one with myself,
with ease.
