What so ardently sings me to sleep
Crisp wind whispering in my ear
Eyes peering across a lustrous, green mesa
I am not here, nor have I been
Although I dream it is so
Lover's hand in mine
Sun setting, her colors so incandescent
Ocean exhaling upon the rocky shore
Two hundred feet below
Nothing consoling my mind so much
As this cherished moment
Connected with the Earth's beauty
Alongside the one who makes it so
