My body is my house
furnished with secrets most
my bones are its host.
My soul is my home
where I learn to feel, to cope
my spirit the hub of my hope.
My faith is my hearth
center of every stroke and beat
my blood is my hushed heat.
My truth carries honor
at the helm I make a bold start
courage is held in my heart.
I hunger for wisdom
I dream of harmony, of kindness
my haven is pure happiness.
Hallelujah!  ready on my lips
a healing harbor on the make
Salaam!  with every handshake
