Silence
A drip
The noise echoes throughout
Off each wall it flies
Striking my ears each time it passes

Darkness
A flash
The light screams out
Shining of each moist, moss covered wall
Lighting my surroundings for an instant

Nothing
A surface
My hand slides over the damp stone
I feel I know where I am

No emotion
Fear
My feet slip and I feel myself slide
No telling how far I will fall

Warmth
Cold
I feel my feet slip into the subterranean lake
The freezing temperature overcomes me

Light
Darkness
The water envelopes me
No way to find the surface

No way to find air
My hands reach out
Darkness

Darkness
A dark little poem
Apologies to anyone that requires them
