Crossroad

You give me your arm

and we take to the streets

A plethora of bombardments

stimulations and senses

dissatisfaction ringing in our ears

but only faintly––––

and the rush of the waves

bursting down their lanes

crashing into the cacophonies of beyond

but all oblivious

wonders of our bodies

demons of the mind

enticing and exciting all the feathers of the future

ruffled and untangled

purity in its core

smells and sights flashing

immaterial and immortal

from time immemorial
