Why do they not respect you
maybe you don't deserve it
maybe they don't know how
maybe you showed them differently
maybe they plainly don't know;
for they didn't grow up with it-
what respect is
how's it done
when should it be done
why would they do it
and who deserves it

Why's everyone not aware
of what respect is
and its impact
maybe they do know
maybe they do understands
