I'll admit, it was selfish of me
to keep you just so you couldn't
be with anyone else
knowing myself, I couldn't face
the fact that I might not be
good enough for you

But I can't stop tapping this vein
It's the only release from this feeling
Like I'm a rock, tumbling down a mountain
I'm going to hit the ground so hard

When I remember, it's the only time
that I can touch you again
I can see you, I can feel you and
it's more than I can stand
I would ****, I would do anything
not to feel this way ever again

But I can't stop tapping this vein
It's the only release from this feeling
Like I'm a rock, tumbling down a mountain
I'm going to hit the ground so hard

You're never going to catch me,
You'll always have your hands full
I can barely remember what
it's like to be with you
I wish I could let it settle,
get up and brush it off

But I can't stop tapping this vein
It's the only release from this feeling
Like I'm a rock, tumbling down a mountain
I'm going to hit the ground *so hard
