MY FAVORITE FLOWER

My favorite flowere in my garden
Has always been there to be seen
I had so many different colors
To myself ever so supreme

I was never one to ever lift bulbs
I left them to bulb up their way
Over forty different shades on view
Admired so by passers by each day

I dug them up when I first traveled
To many countries just so far away
And gave them to a dedicated gardener
Knowing they'd always be on display

But I miss my vast gardens of exotics
And traveled ever far and wide did I
Wishing I could do it all once more
At least long before I ever die
