Soul Surgery
An open-soul surgery
A judgment for my sins
Will I go to heaven?
Or suffer the wrath of hell?
I lay on the operation table
Waiting for a verdict...
"Undecided."
I don't know what that means
I ask for further explanation
They hesitate to give an answer.
Oh, that's it?
A mixed up soul.
A messed up life.
A little of every emotion,
All balled up into one.
That's what they see in my soul.
They see sin, and kindness. An even amount.
So I guess that's just me,
"Undecided."
