Monsters

Last night as I lay thinking of monsters under my bed...

  creeping

   crawling  crouching

             clawing clamoring

         crushing  crunching

cracking

clutching

    clasping

   clipping

   cutting

   cleaving

       crowing

        craving

            craven

      cringing cowering

crying

... there are a lot of monstrous words that begin with C.
