Don't call me a ***** if your late for dinner
stand still to deliver
each of us came from Adam
Adam was a black man never working on his tan
you understand the races, faces & spaces
words can hurt and words can bring down
stay in front of the line never getting down
so you wear a frown in your very fine hood
perhaps your up to know **** good

We are all colored people
we can each hold hands at the church steeple
everyday there's a brand new baby born
and at night got the covers to keep us warm
I mean no disrespect nor harm
so sound the alarm
I'm like Michael Jackson, "Looking at the man in the mirror"
honestly to be my hero
