I will stare at my hands in disbelief
And question why I'm here
I will analyse every fine line on my fingertips
I will remember when you held my hand
How it was something sweet
How I forgot I had knees ,
How I forgot I could breathe
And now I'm forgetting how your cold fingertips felt beneath mine
And how they took the lead.
