Nov 2012
you weep upon a mound of dirt
pretending I'm beneath the earth
but I'm the bird upon the sky
the brightly colored butterfly
the flower that blooms through the crack
all the regrets that you'll never get back
I'm the rainbow that never ends
the forgiving heart that always bends
the light in the middle of the night
I'm the monster under your bed
the one inside your head
that will make everything all right
I'm not dead
I'm just gone
you weep over an empty grave
it's not goodbye
just... so long
