The Christians Jesus, Ramera and Bonnie Jeanne came in together. Bonnie carrying the lit white devotional candle that was her thing. Ramera reading from her handwritten facsimile of the good book, Jesus knowing the words by heart graciously dictating parts but she hadn’t had time to do the entire book. Jesus raised his hands declaiming like a lunatic, everybody getting that he was talking to his unseen father. “Bless this mission and these children of god! Be they saved or unsaved let them find your light and come home! Guide them on their journey oh heavenly father! Protect them in this hour of peril! Say, did I ever tell you the one about the rabbi, the beggar and the *******...stop me if you’ve heard it. So the Rabbi says ‘how much for a two-for-one?’ get it?” Ramera was already drinking, Annabella looking on with concern. Ramera wasn’t that big to begin with and now she was mostly alcohol. Drunk all the time and hanging out of her clothes the little sister had no concern for her soul. She was saved many times over for a certainty.
