A Peril Of Sorts
I'm commisioned by God to tell a tale with no further avail
long in the dust of man their stood a reason for being sought after the chosen
there were days of piercing hearts through the distant of two worlds apart
as a decorated mast we walk humbly threw the flames
the course that we are heading in spinning like a top
shadows block my mere reflection to what I was looking for
the dust grew into a heightened figure in twilight left below its disease
we grew reluctant in functioning through the cemetery
dark figures would loom in the glow of each cadence in thought
the value of each purses constructs a pryamid in my head
a complex entry to the inner circle left faltering in such a hurry
the days left in amazement with a time well spent in thought
enter the God man with his glow there's some things you ought to know
skulls and crossbone a man sitting hungry at the end of the street
there are some moments in twilight God must take you through best to be warm & respectful
crossing the alley with a man peeing
the ****** of a shield on guard after the peril of sorts
